This year’s FOM CEO Retreat and Conference was a time of great blessing as we came together for encouragement, fellowship, and learning. Dr. Patrick Odle and the staff at Baptist Mid-Missons certainly hosted us in a wonderful way.
For our Annual FOM CEO Retreat we enjoyed a relaxing time as well as a messages from Dr. David Little and Dr. Gary Anderson. Dr. Little reminded us of the importance of preparing the next generation of leaders, while Dr. Anderson spoke of what Paul saw in Timothy when he recruited him to be a part of his tam. Sunday evening was a time of reflecting on the goodness of God during the past year as well as discussions on current challenges in missions.
This year’s conference theme was, “Wisdom and Witness: navigating AI to advance the Gospel.” Dr. Matthew Bennettt and Dr. Joshua Kira, professors at Cedarville University, helped to look from a Biblical perspective on how to approach the use of AI and how it might help us in certain areas as well as being aware of various pitfalls. Wednesday morning was dedicated to pulling together what we had learned and how to flesh it out in our various ministries.
Next year’s meetings will be hosted by IBMGlobal in Concord, New Hampshire. The dates are September 11 through September 15, 2026. Along with our agency members, we especially invite agency leader guests to be with us for both the FOM CEO Retreat (guests are free) and the Annual Meeting (Free registration).
Judy and I count it a rich privilege to serve alongside these godly, dedicated mission agency leaders and their wives. Truly we are striving to reach the world for Christ together!
