This year’s Annual Fellowship of Mission’s CEO Retreat and conference held in Greenville, SC, was a blessing to all in attendance. We were royally treated by our gracious hosts, the Open Door Baptist Mission, Rev. David Smith, Director.
During the CEO Retreat time together we were the recipients of the excellent devotional/expositional teaching of Dr. Steve Pettit, recently installed president of Bob Jones University. Our annual conference theme was “MOBILIZATION: Successfully Navigating the Ever Changing Rapids of Recruiting!” Our meetings were held at the beautiful facilities of the Morningside Baptist Church, the home location of ODBM. Devotional speakers for this meeting were Dr. Tony Miller, retiring pastor, and Rev. Josh Crockett, recently installed new pastor.
Our guest seminar facilitators this year were Dr. Jason Ormiston, Pastor/BJU Faculty; Rev. Mark Vowels, BJU Missions Dept.; Dr. Daniel Anderson, President, Appalachian Bible College; Rev. Brad Hoff, Field Administrator, Continental Baptist Missions; and Rev. Steve Fulks, Church Relations Administrator, Baptist-Mid-Missions. Audio presentations, as well as other FOM information, are available on our website: www.fellowshipofmissions.org.
The Fellowship of Missions consists of nearly 30 Mission Agencies representing more than 2,000 missionaries serving on all six continents of the world. Our purpose is to provide collaborative interaction among member mission agency leaders for mutual accountability, personal and ministry development and encouragement.
Next year’s CEO Retreat and Annual Conference will be September 17-21, 2016, hosted by Appalachian Bible College, Bradley, WV, Dr. Daniel Anderson, president. Our theme will be, “Thriving in an Increasingly Hostile Environment.” Our guest facilitator will be attorney David Gibbs III, president of the National Center for Life and Liberty. Forthcoming details will be posted on our website in the near future.
Thank you for your interest in missions worldwide and God’s richest blessings on you as you continue you efforts in proclaiming the Gospel for His honor and glory.
