Maynard and Ann

President – Maynard H. Belt became a Christian as a teenager from an unchurched environment and soon committed his life completely to Christ. After his academic training at the Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College & Seminary, he pastored four churches in Michigan.

He retired after 16 years as State Representative of the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches and presently serves as Special Representative for the Department of Church Relations with Baptist Mid-Missions, and in February, 2011, was appointed president of Fellowship of Missions. He also serves on the Councils of Baptist Mid-Missions, Continental Baptist Missions, and Bible Tracts, Inc. He has spoken in many Bible conferences and has traveled to several foreign mission fields. He has written Discipleship Studies for the Local Church, a concise series of 18 lessons used by many pastors and missionaries in discipling new believers. He has also published a booklet entitled, “A Preparatory Foundation for Pastoral Ministry (Ministerial Apprentice Program/MAP),” to be used in mentoring young men for ministry. Many of his other writings can be found on the website BarnabasFile.com. Maynard met his wife, Ann, in Bible College, and they have four children, three of which are married, and six grandchildren.
