Maynard and Ann

PresidentMaynard H. Belt became a Christian as a teenager from an unchurched environment and soon committed his life completely to Christ. After his academic training at the Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College & Seminary, he pastored four churches in Michigan.

He retired after 16 years as State Representative of the Michigan Association of Regular Baptist Churches and since has served as Special Representative for the Department of Church Relations with Baptist Mid-Missions; associate pastor of Senior Ministries and Care; and in February, 2011, was appointed president of Fellowship of Missions. Over the years he has also served on several missionary councils, boards and institutions.

Maynard has spoken in several Bible conferences and has traveled to several foreign mission fields. He has authored an 18 lesson discipleship book, Discipleship Studies for the Local Church; Scripture Meditations from the Pen of Maynard H. Belt; and A Preparatory Foundation for Pastoral Ministry, to be used in mentoring young men for ministry. Many of his other writings can be found on the website BarnabasFile.com. Maynard met his wife, Ann, in Bible College, and they have four children, three of which are married, and six grandchildren. They reside in Grand Rapids, MI.
